The lead litigator at the law firm of Compton Law Group, Dan has extensive jury trial experience dating back to 1986. He has litigated cases ranging in length from four days to six weeks for all types of clients, from injured individuals to school districts to major construction companies. Mr. Compton spent two years working for the judges of Kane County, Illinois, doing research and writing on litigated cases for several judges who went on to the Appellate Court of Illinois, as well as one future state Supreme Court justice. He joined Compton Law Group in 1986 after graduating magna cum laude from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Mr. Compton represents individuals injured through medical negligence of doctors, auto and truck accident victims, people injured by dangerous conditions on property, and those suffering all types of animal-related injuries. He also handles the majority of the corporate and business litigation for the firm. Mr. Compton lives in Elgin, Illinois, with his wife of 30 years, Lorraine.
